New Approach looks to have a very exciting filly for next year, following Hadith’s victory in the Listed Montrose Fillies’ Stakes, run over a mile at Newmarket.
Always prominent under Adam Kirby, Charlie Appleby’s charge was always travelling well and once headed inside the final furlong, battled superbly to retake the lead and won going away by a length and a quarter.
Hadith is out of the Group-winning Street Cry mare Discourse, who has now produced two Stakes winners from two foals to race – the other being Dubawi’s Listed-winning daughter Discursus.
New Approach is also sire of brilliant four-time G1 winner and fellow Darley stallion Dawn Approach, plus Epsom Oaks winner Talent. His current two-year-olds are among his best ever and include Listed winner and G2 Champagne Stakes second Hey Gaman, plus exciting filly Magic Lily, who finished third in the G1 Fillies’ Mile on only her second start.
New Approach stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £30,000 Oct 1 Special Live Foal.
