Teofilo’s three-year-old son Naval Power returned to the track in 2023 in style with an easy victory in the Listed Jumeirah Classic over 1800m at Meydan. The winner of the Listed Ascendant and Winkfield Stakes last season, he ran on well to win easily over One Nation, a son of Dubawi.
A Godolphin homebred, Naval Power is the fourth foal out of Dubawi’s winning mare Emirates Rewards, who is herself a half-sister to Breeders’ Cup hero Outstrip.
Teofilo has sired 110 career Stakes winners including 23 that have won at the highest level. He has sired a G1 winner in each and every one of his first 11 crops, a record no other active stallion can match.
