Teofilo added another individual Stakes winner to his tally when his four-year-old daughter Afterglow landed the Listed Prix Denisy at Saint-Cloud on Wednesday, 10 November.
Following on from a progressive season, the Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly stayed on gamely to land her first Black Type success by over a length in the hands of Mickael Barzalona.
Owned and bred by Godolphin, Afterglow is out of the G3-placed mare Fading Light and is a full-sister to Listed Chalice Stakes winner Fireglow.
Teofilo has now sired an impressive 101 individual Stakes winners and 22 individual G1 winners. Among them are Royal Ascot G1 Gold Cup winner Subjectivist, 2020 Melbourne Cup hero Twilight Payment and last month’s G1 Prix Royal-Oak winner Scope.
Teofilo stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €30,000, Oct 1, SLF.
