Teofilo is enjoying a fantastic start to the year as he sired his fourth Black Type winner of 2024, when his seven-year-old son, Sunchart, produced an impressive performance to win on his seasonal debut in the Listed Devoy Stakes at Naas, Ireland on Sunday, 24 March.
Sunchart, who has twice finished runner-up in this race, travelled strongly behind the leaders in third, the Andrew Slattery-trained gelding picked up the lead approaching the two furlong marker and soon pulled clear of the field to post a comfortable six and a half-length victory in the ten and a half furlong contest.
