Lixirova, a two-year-old daughter of Darley stallion Slickly, became her sire’s sixth individual Black type winner on 3 November when landing the G3 Prix Miesque at Maisons-Laffitte.
The David Smaga-trained filly landed the seven-furlong contest by two lengths from Absolute Music (by Darley America stallion Consolidator) to record her third career victory.
Bred by M. Jean-Louis Blot, Lixirova is out of the unraced Trempolino mare Linorova and is a half-sister to fellow Black type performer Staraco.
Also on Tuesday, first-season sire Dubawi posted his 30th individual winner when Confessional justified odds-on favouritism to win the six-furlong maiden at Catterick by four lengths.
Bred by Bearstone Stud, Confessional is the first foal to race out of the G3 winner Golden Nun.
Dubawi, whose 2010 fee is £20,000, is Europe’s leading first-season sire by number of winners. His first crop include Group winners Poet’s Voice and Sand Vixen, and a further three Group performers.
