Dubawi’s first-crop son Worthadd landed a first Classic victory for his young sire in the G3 Premio Paroli in Rome on Sunday.
A winner on his most recent previous start in the Listed Premio Gardone, Worthadd took the step up in class well within his stride to land the prestigious contest by a length.
Bred by Compagnia Generale, he is out of the Rahy mare Wigman and joins Poet’s Voice, Sand Vixen, Makfi and NZ-bred Cellarmaster as Group winners for Dubawi, who also celebrated a two-year-old Listed winner, Golden Millennium, at Randwick on Saturday.
