Too Darn Hot sired another new winner when his juvenile daughter Carolina Reaper put up an impressive performance to win by four and a half lengths at Newmarket on Saturday, 22 July.
Trained by Charlie Johnston, the two-year-old filly made use of her previous racecourse experience to take up the early running of the seven furlong maiden race, travelling strongly under James Doyle she quickened up well and eased clear of the field in the final furlong to post a comfortable win.
A step up in class may now be on the cards for this filly and the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket could be her next target.
