Sepoy struck again on Tuesday afternoon when Indian Blessing took command in the 7f maiden contest at Newcastle, taking her sire's tally to 17 winners from his first European crop.
Bred by Jocelyn Targett and trained by Ed Walker, Indian Blessing is out of the winning Halling mare Alpen Glen, herself out of the G2 winner Pozarica who is a half-sister to Accessories (Singspiel), dam of Sepoy's fellow Darley stallions and Australian G1 winners Helmet and Epaulette.
Sepoy is now the sire of 11 winners since September. His first European crop includes such as G3 winner Kilmah and Listed winner Baileys Showgirl, as well as Dabyah who finished a fine third in the G1 Prix Marcel Boussac, and the Stakes performers Executive Force and Unforgettable Filly.
