On a busy Saturday for the Darley stallions, three-year-old Authorized filly Rose Rized became their fourth European Stakes winner of the day when landing the Listed Premio Giovanni Falck in Milan. R
acing keenly during the early stages of the 12-furlong contest, Rose Rized was settled in fourth position. Taking the lead with a furlong and a half left to run, she soon moved clear of her rivals and held the fast-finishing Betty Lou to win by a length, with the pair some six lengths ahead of the rest of the field.
Rose RIzed was bred in Germany by Gestut Wittekindshof and is out of the G1 German Oaks winner Rosenreihe, who has produced two winners from two foals to race.
Authorized has now sired 12 Stakes winners this year – more than any other stallion standing in France. They are led by G1 winner Hartnell and G2-winning duo Complacent and Maygrove.
