First-crop sire Blue Point sired a new impressive winner on Tuesday, 30 May when his son Zabriskie Point won well on his debut. Making his ground down the middle of the track he burst clear before holding on late to beat his paternal half-sister Gushing Gold, the pair finishing over four lengths clear of the third.

Bred by Meon Valley Stud, Zabriskie Point is the first winner bred by Stakes performer Familiarity (Nayef), who is a granddaughter of G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes heroine Milligram.
Blue Point has now sired eight individual winners with many heading to Royal Ascot, a meeting he excelled at himself. It is also his second impressive winner since Saturday after Politico won with ease at Chester.
