Guineas winner for Authorized
Bici Bici was a fantastic campaigner for her sire Authorized in Turkey last year, winning on no fewer than five occasions (twice at Stakes level) and making the frame in every one of her seven starts.
Now three, she recorded her sixth career victory in style when landing the Turkish 1,000 Guineas, a local G1 contest. She was settled in fourth position for much of the one-mile contest before coming with a fantastic sweeping run down the home straight to win by half a length.
Bici Bici is the first foal to race out of the winning Bertolini mare Bellini Rose, herself a daughter of G2 winner Prospectress.
Authorized is also sire this year of G1 winner Hartnell and fellow Group winner Maygrove. He stands at Haras du Logis at a fee of €10,000 October 1st SLF.
