Al Kazeem back on the winning trail
Returning to racing this season after an abortive stud career, Al Kazeem got back on the winning track on his second start of the year in the G3 Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor. The three-time G1-winner was held up in midfield early before challenging in the straight to deny Manduro's son True Story by half-a-length with a massive seven lengths back to the third.
Bred by Mr and Mrs Deer, Al Kazeem is out of the Darshaan mare Kazeem, a daughter of the Group-winning mare Kanz. Kazeem has a full brother foal to Al Kazeem born earlier this year.
Al Kazeem becomes Dubawi's 17th Group winner of the year including 2,000 Guineas hero Night Of Thunder. Earlier this month he reached 50 individual Group winners in record time when Wannabe Yours won at Goodwood.
