Dubawi's son Dubai Future continued his resurgence with a brilliant performance in the G2 Dubai Gold Cup over 3200m at Meydan.
Trained by Saeed bin Suroor, Dubai Future was settled towards the rear and came with a challenge in home straight, readily pulling clear in the closing stages to land his sixth race at Stakes level, and his first in Group 2 company.

The Godolphin homebred is out of the Group-winning Street Cry mare Anjaz. He is closely related to Dubawi's multiple Group winner Ispolini and is from the family of Nathaniel.
Dubawi has made another tremendous start to the year, and has a number of exciting prospects to look forward to, including recent G3 Ballysax Stakes winner Delacroix, who looks a leading contender for this year's G1 Derby at Epsom.
