All Shamar, a juvenile colt by Shamardal, maintained his unbeaten record on Tuesday November 22, when making all to win by one-and-a-half lengths in the Listed Prix Isonomy, run over 1600m at Saint-Cloud. Trained in Germany by Waldemar Hickst, he was the winner of his only previous start in Munich.
Bred by Richard Tucker, he is out of the Group-placed mare All Glory (Alzao), who herself is a half-sister to three other Stakes horses; Kimbridge Knight, Mauri Moon and Pacific Grove (dam of the Cape Cross sired G2 winner Mokabra).
Shamardal is enjoying yet another excellent season in 2011. Amongst his 15 Stakes winners are Zazou, the G1 Premio Roma scorer, Crackerjack King, winner of five of his six starts including the Derby Italiano and progressive G2-winning miler Sommerabend. He will stand this coming season for a fee of €50,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
