First-season sire Pinatubo continued the excellent start to his stud career when registering another new winner as his son Blue Pinatubo won on just his second start at Ayr on Tuesday, 01 October.
Tracking the leader throughout, the Charlie Johnston-trained colt made his move in the final furlong and stayed on well to win going away in the closing stages. The form of the race looks strong with Royal Ascot Windsor Castle fourth Weissmuller half-a-length down in second.
