Two Darley first-season sires had new winners on Sunday, 30 October.
First to strike was Racing Ray, a juvenile son of Cracksman (pictured), over 1200m at Bratislava in Slovakia. Owned and bred by Gestüt Sage Stud, he is the first winner bred from the Oasis Dream mare Pebbles Place, who hails from he extended family of Champion juvenile Earthlight.
Warrior Angel also struck on her debut later that afternoon, when winning by two lengths over 1200m at Pisa in Italy. The daughter of Harry Angel was bred by Linacre House Ltd and a cheap Breeze-up purchase earlier this season.
Harry Angel has now sired 23 individual winners while Cracksman now has 13 including G2 Premio Dormello heroine Aloa.
