Private Harry confirmed his potential and remained unbeaten in five starts when he beat a quality field on Saturday, 22 March in the G1 Galaxy over 1,100m at Rosehill Gardens.
Making only his fifth start, Private Harry took the step up in grade with ease, wearing down Front Page to win by a comfortable three-quarters of a length. The three-year-old colt clocked a time of 1 minute 2.67 seconds, just 0.16 seconds outside of Westicaro’s long-standing track record.
We're just wild about Harry!!! 😍

Bred by Rheinwood Pastoral Company, Private Harry is out of Australian mare Happy Pilgrim and was a $115,000 purchase at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. He has now taken his earnings to just short of $2 million.
Champion sprinter Harry Angel is enjoying a terrific spell in Australia, where earlier this month his son Tom Kitten landed a second G1 in the Futurity Stakes at Flemington. He comfortably leads the Australian third-season sires table, with over $10 million in prize money won, more than double that of Justify. He also sits in seventh place on the overall sires list in Australia.
He currently stands at Dalham Hall Stud, Newmarket for a fee of £10,000, Oct 1, SLF.
