First-season sire Profitable sired his 22nd winner on Wednesday, 22 September when Azul Bahia broke her maiden at Varese in Italy. Making her third career start after a pair of placings at the same track, she was not hard-pressed to record a one-and-a-quarter length victory.
Bred by Ringfort Stud and a £15,000 yearling purchase, she is a daughter of the Zamindar mare Alphabetique, a granddaughter of Champion Alborada.
Currently sitting second amongst first-season sires with 22 winners, Profitable has also sired the G2 Queen Mary Stakes heroine Quick Suzy, and Irish Stakes winner Head Mistress.
