Profitable’s first-crop son Mitbaahy struck again at Stakes level on Sunday, 6 August when taking the Listed Queensferry Stakes. Run over six furlongs at Chester, he was held up off the strong early pace before asserting in the straight to defeat Fast Response (Fast Company) by one length.

Now the winner of five races, Mitbaahy had previously won the G3 World Trophy and Listed Scurry Stakes as a three-year-old last season.
Bred by N Hartery, Mitbaahy is out of the winning Invasor mare Wrood and a half-sister to US G1 winner Going Global.
Profitable is the sire of 12 Stakes performers including including a brace of G2-winning juveniles in Quick Suzy and Wed. The sire of 50 two-year-old winners from his first two crops, Profitable already has a further 11 from his third in 2023.
