Territories has made a superb start to his stud career, siring seven individual winners so far. Six of these have won in July, and his latest successful runner is Regional, who was victorious at Pontefract on Thursday, 23 July.
Richard Fahey’s charge was smartly away under Tony Hamilton and raced keenly during the early stages, just behind the leader. Once asked for his effort, Regional quickened up very impressively indeed and taking the lead inside the final furlong, soon moved clear to win by a length and three quarters.
Regional was bred by Razza del Sole Societa Agricola SRL and is out of the Stakes-winning Dansili mare Favulusa, herself a half-sister to Farhh’s Listed winner Fa Ul Sciur.
Territories is now sire of seven individual winners, plus two Stakes performers. His winners to runners ratio for July cannot be bettered by any other first-season sire in Europe who has had 10 or more runners.
