Outstrip sired his third and fourth individual winners on Sunday, 2 June.
First to score was his juvenile daughter La La Land, who made an impressive debut at Baden-Baden. Never far off the pace, she went to the front turning for home in the 1000m contest and was never troubled to win very easily.
Owned and bred by Gestut Karlshof, La La Land is a daughter of the winning Hernando mare La Caldera, who hails from the family of German Champion Lomitas.
Later in the afternoon Chicaloca gained her first victory when taking the valuable Premio Goffs UK at Siracusa in Italy. Making her second start after a debut second, she was bred by Green Stone Stud and Trickledown Stud and is the first winner bred out of the Bertolini mare Don’t Tell Bertie.
The winner of the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, Outstrip has made an impressive start at stud, siring the Listed National Stakes heroine Flippa The Strippa. He has also sired the Rome maiden winner Cappuccino Bay.
