Freshman sire Slade Power got off the mark with his first winner on 18 April when his two-year-old daughter Strings of Life won on debut at Newmarket for Godolphin and trainer Charlie Appleby.
Strings of Life pressed the early pace in the five-furlong maiden event before moving up along the rail in the final furlong to score by a half-length over Kadiz.
Bred by Godolphin, Strings of Life is out of the Pivotal mare Nashama, a half-sister to G2 Great Voltigeur Stakes winner Centennial.
She is the second starter and first winner for her sire, who won the G1 Darley July Cup and G1 Diamond Jubilee in 2014 and was rated the best sprinter for over a decade.
Slade Power stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €15,000, Oct 1, SLF.
