Iffraaj's promising three-year-old son Order Again held on to claim a narrow victory in the G3 Grand Prix Stakes over 2200m at Eagle Farm on 27 May, winning his third race from eight starts and first at Stakes level.
The Brian Smith-trained gelding jumped well and travelled comfortably in midfield before showing a superb turn of foot at the top of the straight, charging home to find the line a nose ahead of tough contender Volatile Mix.
Bred by C E J & C J W Stewart, Order Again is out of winning mare Glass Half Full who is a half-sister to G2 winner Jetset Lad.
Order Again becomes the Iffraaj’s 49th individual Stakes winner. In 2017, he has sired three top-flight scorers; recent Lockinge hero Ribchester, who is rated 131 by Timeform, making him the leading European performer this season and two NZ-bred Classic winners in Gingernuts and Jon Snow.
