Grail Seeker, a four-year-old daughter of Iffraaj, won her second top level triumph on Saturday 4, January when striking in the TAB Telegraph. Run over 1200m at Trentham in New Zealand, she powered clear in the final 200m to record a two-and-a-half length triumph.
Now the winner of four of her 11 starts, she has now won consecutive G1 races after triumphing in the Tarzino Trophy in September last year.
Bred by Jamieson Park, Grail Seeker is one of eight winners bred out of the Redoute’s Choice mare Starwish.
Grail Seeker is one of 13 top-flight scorers by Iffraaj that also includes high-class stallion Wootton Bassett and dual Champion miler Ribchester. Last year’s highlight was a thrilling victory for Audience in the G1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
Iffraaj is standing this season at a fee of £10,000 at Dalham Hall Stud.
