Shamardal recorded a new Group winner on 13 October when his progressive son Subway Dancer ran out the convincing winner of the G3 Prix Andre Baboin at Lyon-Parilly.
The four-year-old took the ten-furlong contest by three and a half lengths, with every other horse he beat a previous Black type winner or placer.
Subway Dancer was bred by Haras de Saint Pair and is out of the Group-winning Galileo mare Sub Rose, a full sister to another Black type winner in Astonishing.
Shamardal has now sired 20 individual Stakes winners so far this year, headed by G1-winning trio Dariyan, Speedy Boarding and Tryster.
