Second new winner in two days for Poet’s Voice

Poeta Diletto is victorious at Milan in Italy

A day after G K Chesterton impressed at Redcar, Poet’s Voice sired a new winner on Saturday 17 October when his son Poeta Diletto ran out a very easy winner of the 1700m maiden at Milan. Second on his debut over the same course and distance last month, he had no problem disposing of his seven rivals by five lengths.

Bred by Scuderia Blueberry, Poeta Diletto is the second foal of the Stakes-winning mare Mia Diletta (Selkirk) and a half-brother to Mia Eccellenza (Exceed And Excel).

Poet’s Voice has now sired 12 first-crop winners including Ripon Champion Two-Year-Old Trophy winner Whitman, the Stakes-placed filly Voice Of Love and the multiple winners Bathos, Montsarrat and Midnight Malibu.
