Teresa Mendoza became Territories latest Stakes winner when landing the Listed Dash Stakes over six furlongs at the Curragh on Saturday, 25 June, for owner Ecurie Ama Zing Team.
Having finished second in this race last year, the four-year-old filly who is trained by K J Condon, sat last for most of the race under jockey Billy Lee, before comfortably making her way through the field in the final two furlongs, she was then ridden out in the closing stages to win by half a length.
Bred by Ennistown Stud, Teresa Mendoza is the third foal out of the Mr. Greeley mare, Ceoldrama.
Territories is the sire of 13 Black Type performers, including G1 Prix de l’Opera winner, Rougir and his highest-rated runner, Aldaary, who was rated 124 by Timeform after his win in the Balmoral Handicap on Champions Day.
