Three-year-old Night Of Thunder filly Rumbles of Thunder added a second Stakes victory to her record on Monday, 4 October when running out the impressive winner of the 12-furlong Prix Panacee at Toulouse, France.
Settled in mid division under jockey Eddy Hardouin, Rumbles of Thunder travelled well throughout and once entering the home straight, demonstrated an impressive turn of foot to simply fly past her rivals and won by a length.
Rumbles of Thunder won the Listed Premio Merano in Italy on her last start, having broken her maiden on her racecourse debut this June.
She was bred by Francis Killen and is out of the winning Halling mare Blanche Neige, herself a full sister to G2 winner Harland and a half-sister to Group winner and G1 performer Musis Amica.
Night Of Thunder has sired 11 individual Stakes winners this year, headed by G1 winners Thundering Nights and Kukeracha. He has seven yearlings on offer at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1, due to start tomorrow.
