Brilliant young stallion Night Of Thunder sired a new Group winner on Friday, 12 August when his second-crop daughter Rumbles Of Thunder landed the G3 Give Thanks Stakes at Cork. A previous Listed winner in three separate countries, the Paddy Twomey-trained filly was strong in the final furlong to win going away by over two lengths.
Bred by F Killen, Rumbles Of Thunder is the first foal out of Blanche Neige (Halling), a full-sister to G2 winner Harland.
Night Of Thunder has sired ten Stakes winners in 2022 including last weekend’s G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest heroine Highfield Princess and unbeaten G2-winning juvenile Isaac Shelby.
