Making his debut for new trainer Alice Haynes and upped in trip, Mr Professor made light work of the mile contest, winning by two and a half lengths under Rossa Ryan.
Bred by Chris McHale and purchased for 105,000gns at the Tattersalls Book 2 yearling sale, Mr Professor is out of the Stakes-winning Alhaarth mare Law Of The Range, a half-sister to the G3-placed High Court Drama. They are out of a half-sister to G3 Hungerford Stakes victor With Reason and G3 Futurity Stakes heroine Jural.
Profitable is now the sire of 19 first crop winners led by G2 Queen Mary winner Quick Suzy and Listed Curragh Stakes winner Head Mistress.
