Three-year-old filly, Maliparmi, was a new Stakes winner for Ribchester when she gained a well-deserved win in the Listed Premio Buontalenta over 1600m at Roma, Italy on Sunday, 29 October.
Trained by Jerome Reynier, Maliparmi was always travelling well under Antonio Orani, she began to pick up at the 500m marker and hit the front with 300m to run. She drew clear of the field and unchallenged, went on to post a two-and-a-quarter length victory.

Maliparmi has won four races this year and finished a creditable second on her first start in Listed company in May when she was beaten by just half-a-length in the Henkel Stutenpreis at Dusseldorf.
Bred in Ireland by Mr L Vaessen, Maliparmi is the daughter of the unraced mare Marasil (Azamour), herself a half-sister to Listed-winner and Group-performer, Monroe Bay.
Amongst Ribchesterโs Stakes-performers are G3-winner Facteur Cheval who also finished second in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot last Saturday, Red Card who landed his first Stakes victory in June at Eagle Farm and Krakarib (G3 Maribyrnong Plate).
