Powerful Breeze, a two-year-old daughter of Iffraaj, remained unbeaten in two career starts with a victory in the G2 May Hill Stakes on 12 September at Doncaster. She was coming off an impressive debut win in a seven-furlong contest at Newmarket on 23 August.
Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Powerful Breeze is out of the Stakes-placed Echo of Light mare Power of Light.
Iffraaj is the sire of 9 individual G1 winners including European Champion miler Ribchester, G1 Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies’ Turf heroine Chriselliam and Royal Ascot winner Rizeena. This season, he is the sire of 18 Black Type performers including the G2 winners Mythical Magic and Beshaayir.
