Big winners in Australia and Saudi Arabia for Dalham Hall stallion

Harry Angel has started the new year in flying form siring big winners on Saturday 4, January in both hemispheres.

First to strike was his Australian-bred three-year-old son Private Harry who took his unbeaten run to four starts in the valuable TAB Sunlight. Taking the AUD$ 1.2 million first prize he strode clear in the straight to win easily.

Later in the day, his European-bred first-crop son Uncle won his first Stakes race when taking the Listed King Faisal Cup. Run over a mile on dirt, the Peter Ridges-bred gelding was previously trained by Richard Hannon and was winning his fourth race in Saudi Arabia.

Harry Angel is standing this season at a fee of £10,000.
