Iffraaj’s stellar son Fast Raaj recorded another Stakes win on Sunday, 16 July when taking the G3 Prix Messidor at Chantilly. Run over 1600m, he was able to get the better of the fancied Topgear inside the final 200m to win going away by one-and-a-quarter lengths.
The winner of the G3 Prix Djebel as a three-year-old in 2021, Fast Raaj has now won eight of his 19 career starts.
Fast Raaj is one of four winners bred out of the Raven’s Pass mare Interesting, who was Group-placed as a juvenile in France eleven years ago.
Iffraaj has now sired five Group winners in 2023 including impressive G3 Criterion Stakes winner Audience.
