Judicial landed his 15th career race, and fourth at Stakes level, on Saturday, 27 June when winning the G3 Chipchase Stakes. The son of Iffraaj was always travelling strongly on Newcastle's straight six-furlong track, quickening clear in the final furlong to record a one-and-a-half length victory over Brando.
Owned and bred by Elite Racing Club, he is a half-brother to Champion sprinter Marsha, who won a brace of G1’s in the Nunthorpe Stakes and Prix de l’Abbaye. His dam, the Stakes-winning Marju mare Marlinka, hails from the family of Soviet Song and Ribbons (Manduro).
Judicial is one of 35 Group winners sired by Iffraaj. They are headed by his fantastic miler Ribchester, winner of four G1’s including the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
