Shamardal is riding high in the Australian first-season sires' table with nine individual winners to his name and in Europe on Sunday he recorded his fifth winner and the second in a week.
The German-trained colt Noble Alpha, who was bred by Eckhard Sauren from the Group Three-winning Singspiel mare Nouvelle Noblesse, won at debut at Frankfurt over six furlongs (1200m).
Shamardal is also sire of the G3-placed Shakespearean, who was also a first-time-out winner, and in the southern hemisphere, his winners include the G2 runner-up Marquardt and Listed-placed Premardal.
