Dubawi’s three-year-old daughter, Ezeliya, looks an exciting Oaks candidate as she built on last season’s promise to land the G3 Salsabil Stakes by half a length on her seasonal debut at Navan, Ireland on Saturday, 27 April.
Taking a step into Group company for the first time, Ezeliya travelled strongly towards the rear of the field, she began to make progress with three furlongs to run and sweeping down the outside she proved to strong for her rivals as she got up to win in the closing stages from Purple Lily in the ten furlong contest.

The Dermot Weld-trained filly ran twice last year, breaking her maiden on her second attempt when winning by a length at Cork. Ezeliya holds a fist of Classic entries, including the G1 English and Irish Oaks.
Owned and bred by H H Aga Khan, Ezeliya is the second foal out of multiple Group-winning Teofilo mare, Eziyra. She was a Champion older female in Ireland.
Ezeliya is Dubawi’s ninth Stakes winner so far this year. They are headed by G1 winners Rebel’s Romance (Sheema Classic) and Master Of The Seas (Maker’s Mark Mile Stakes). Dubawi is also the sire of yesterday’s emphatic G3 Classic Trial winner, Arabian Crown, who was recording his fourth straight victory.
