Dubawi's daughter makes it a dozen

Catkins wins G3 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill

Dubawi’s amazing daughter Catkins recorded her 12th Stakes victory and passed $2 million in career earnings with a fast-finishing win in the G3 Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill, September 12.

After settling further back than usual due to the fast early speed, Catkins moved into the race turning for home and came with her trademark powerful finishing burst to win comfortably.

Bred by Owen Carter, Catkins is the second foal from Catbird mare Salix Caprea, a half-sister to Stakes winner Rally.

Dubawi is enjoying an incredible 2015 with 27 individual Stakes winners already including 10 G1 winners, among them New Bay, Erupt, Arabian Queen and Kildangan Stud’s newest addition to the stallion roster, Night Of Thunder.
