Big Evs, Blue Point’s first-crop star, landed his fourth Stakes race, and his biggest yet, when taking the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. Run over Santa Anita’s slick five-furlong course, he showed his customary brilliant early pace, and clocking impressive early fractions, held on well to win by just under a length.

Big Evs has now won four of his six starts after victories in the Listed Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot, the G3 Molecomb at Goodwood and the G2 Flying Childers at Doncaster.
Bred by Rabbah, Big Evs is out of the Oasis Dream mare Hana Lina, a daughter of Champion juvenile Queen’s Logic and from the family of star middle-distance performer Dylan Thomas.
Blue Point has been the star amongst European first-crop stallions, siring 41 winners and nine Stakes performers. Amongst his five that have won at Stakes level is Rosallion, who became his first G1 winner when taking the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp’s Arc meeting.
Blue Point will be covering this upcoming season at a fee of €60,000.
