Promising young Darley sire Outstrip increased his tally of winners to nine on Tuesday, 10 September when Arriba Arriba made all to win the six-furlong novice at Catterick.
Sent straight to the front under jockey Graham Lee, the Rebecca Menzies-trained colt was never headed and pushed along two furlongs from home, kept to his task superbly to win by a length and a quarter.
Arriba Arriba was bred by Niall McGrady and is the first foal to race out of the winning Dutch Art mare Lady Atlas. They are from the family of multiple G2 winner and G1 placegetter Cover Look.
Outstrip, winner of the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and G2 Champagne Stakes, is also sire of Stakes-winning filly Flippa The Strippa, plus Listed-placed winner La La Land.
