All Shamar is all class
All Shamar continued an excellent season for his sire Shamardal with a three-and-a-half length victory in the G3 Preis der Wirtschaft over 2000m at Dortmund on Sunday.
British-bred by D R Tucker, All Shamar is out of the Group Three-placed Alzao mare All Glory and has now won three times for four starts, including the Listed Prix Isonomy last November. The three-year-old colt was second on his first start this season in the G3 Fruhjahrs-Preis Des Bankhauses Metzler.
His victory notches Shamardal’s sixth stakes winner so far this season, including the Group One winners Sagawara, who won the Prix Saint-Alary, and Crackerjack King, winner of Premio Presidente della Repubblica.
Shamardal, who stands at Kildangan Stud for €50,000 (October 1, SLF) is the sire of seven individual Group One winners and a total of 36 stakes winners.
