Poet’s Voice has been enjoying a hugely successful end to his first year with runners and on 15 December, he added an 18th individual winner to his record when Vroom took the six-furlong Nursery at Kempton.
Soon in front under Adam Kirby, the flashy chestnut colt travelled superbly throughout and was never troubled, quickening nicely once into the home straight and eventually winning by almost two lengths.
Vroom was bred in Ireland by Paul and T J Monaghan and is out of the winning Rahy mare Shivaree, already dam of two Black type performers including juvenile Stakes winner Geesala.
Poet’s Voice is also sire of record-breaking first-time-out winner Brave Hero, plus no fewer than three Stakes winners in Poeta Diletto, Voice Of Love and Whitman.
Poet’s Voice stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £12,000 October 1st SLF.
