Exciting first-season sire Ghaiyyath sired another new debutant winner as his daughter Mandanaba was a comfortable winner over 1,900m at Chantilly, France on Tuesday, 12 November.
Making all the running, Mandanaba showed a brilliant turn of foot when kicking clear in the home straight and extended her lead all the way up to line to win by six lengths for trainer Francis-Henri Graffard.
We've just seen a very good filly!

Owned and bred by Princess Zahra Aga Khan, she is out of the three-time G1 winner Mandesha, making her a half-sister to G1 Prix d’Ispahan third Mandour.
It was a second impressive debutant winner for her sire this week after Al Uqda’s victory at Saint-Cloud on Sunday, and she joins a growing list of exciting juveniles for Ghaiyyath that includes G3-placed Stanhope Gardens, and recent ten-length winner Sopran Norma. Ghaiyyath is also the sire of the unbeaten Gethin, whose six-length victory was rated by Timeform as the best performance on debut by any juvenile in Europe this year.
