Promising first-season sire Ghaiyyath registered another impressive debutant winner when his daughter Alobayyah won going away in the Novice at Yarmouth on Tuesday, 22 October.
Settled at the rear of the field, the William Haggas-trained filly travelled smoothly into contention two furlongs out and showed an excellent turn of foot to hit the front inside the final furlong and win going away by two-and-quarter lengths under Tom Marquand.
Didn't move a muscle!

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Alobayyah is the sixth foal out of juvenile G3 Prix Miesque scorer Aquatinta. She was a 115,000gns purchase from the Tattersalls October Book 2 yearling sale.
Ghaiyyath has enjoyed an excellent October with three impressive debutant winners after Rhapsody and Gethin both won at the first time of asking earlier in the month. Gethin’s six-length victory earnt him a Timeform rating of 97, making it the highest-rated debut performance by a juvenile this year. Another of Ghaiyyath’s winning progeny, Stanhope Gardens, was recently an excellent second to Dubawi colt Delacroix in the G3 Autumn Stakes at Newmarket.
