New Stakes winner for Blue Point

Tazara lands the Listed Prix de Bonneval at Chantilly

Tazara, a first-crop daughter of Blue Point, gained a valuable Black Type victory on Thursday, 3 October when winning the Listed Prix de Bonneval. Running on very deep ground, she had to battle in the 1100m contest to record a narrow victory over Le Cadeau.

Bred by Hamwood Stud, Tazara is a three-parts sister to Earthlight’s G3-placed juvenile Mr Lightside. She is out of the War Front mare L’Explora, a half-sister to Group-winning juvenile Requinto.

Blue Point has sired 21 Stakes performers in 2024 including Classic and Royal Ascot G1 winner Rosallion, G2 King George Stakes hero Big Evs, and recent G3-winning juvenile Sky Majesty, who is unbeaten in two career starts.
