Cracksman was the sire of a new Stakes winner as Sea Of Thieves, a daughter from his first crop, got up late to land the Listed Prix Maurice Zilber at ParisLongchamp, France on Sunday, 28 April.
The four-year-old filly, who is trained by Mario Baratti, sat mid-field under Cristian Demuro, she was then switched out for a clear run in the straight and finished strongly to snatch victory by a neck in the final strides of the 1400m contest.
In the nick of time!
