Nibras Passion, a son of Iffraaj, won his first Stakes race on Saturday, 17 February when winning the Listed HH The President Cup. Run over 1400m at Abu Dhabi, he had previously won three races over course and distance.
Bred by Whatton Manor Stud, Nibras Passion hails from the extended family of Champion sprinter Overdose and is out of the Clodovil mare Poppet’s Passion.
Iffraaj, who is standing this season at a fee of £10,000, has now sired 97 individual Stakes winners including 11 that have won at the highest level. They include Champion miler Ribchester, G1-winning juvenile Wootton Bassett, now a leading stallion, and top-class fillies Rizeena and Chriselliam.
