The three new stallions standing at Dalham Hall and Kildangan Stud have all successfully had their first mares scanned in foal.
Modern Games carried all before him on the track, winning five G1s including multiple Breeders’ Cup victories. Starting his new career in the breeding sheds in 2024, he has at least four mares scanned in foal including George Strawbridge’s G1 winner Montare. The resultant foal will be a three-part sibling to a trio of high-class performers by Dubawi; Journey, Indigo Girl, and Mimikyu.
His other mares include Overbury Stud’s G3 winner Hawaafez, who has already produced the G2 heroine Rogue Millennium (Dubawi), Merton Places’ Surfseeker, a half-sister to G1 winner Kitesurf and Silimeri, a half-sister to G1 winner Silasol, whose first foal is the 2023 Group-placed juvenile Inside Matters.
In Ireland, early mares in foal to the European Champion Native Trail include Woodford Farm’s Amore Bello, a sibling to G3 winner More Than Love and from the family of four-time G1 scorer Alcohol Free, and Nick Bradley’s Bristol Fashion, a half-sister to G1 winner Coronet.
Back at Dalham, scanned in foal mares to Royal Ascot G1 hero Triple Time include Overbury Stud’s Fire Orchid, who is already the dam of 2023 Stakes performer Orchid Bloom (Farhh). Another notable mare is the G2 winner Emirates Queen, a half-sister to Dubawi, who has already produced the G1 performer Royal Champion.
Triple Time will be covering a full book of quality mares in his first season with others in foal including Stakes performers Button Moon and Helens Well, the winning New Bay mare Lead Story, and Flame Queen, a daughter of G2 winner Opal Tiara.
