Blue Point sired a new Stakes winner when his four-year-old son Toyotomi landed the Listed Prix Cor de Casse over 1100m at Deauville on Monday, 8 April. It was a 1-2 for the sire as Keran, already placed at Group level, chased him home in second.
Settled in last, Toyotomi was manoeuvered to the outside of the field with 300m to run and came from last to first showing an impressive turn of foot to win.

Bred by Ecurie des Monceaux, Toyotomi is out of Stakes winner Tribune, making him a half-brother to G2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein second Buthela, and Listed Prix du Pont Neuf winner Deemster.
Blue Point has made an incredible start to his career, recently becoming the first sire in Europe to ever record 100 first-crop winners. That first crop featured G1 scorers Big Evs, Rosallion and Kind Of Blue. His second crop includes the exciting, unbeaten filly Sky Majesty, who has already scored at G2 level.
