Naval Power, a four-year-old son of Teofilo, graduated as a Group winner on Friday, 23 February when easily landing the G2 Singspiel Stakes. Run over 1800m at Meydan, he enjoyed a clear run in the straight to record a two-length victory.
Naval Power has now won six of his seven career starts, including three Listed races at Ascot, Haydock, and Meydan.
A Godolphin homebred, Naval Power is out of the winning Dubawi mare Emirates Rewards, a half-sister to Breeders’ Cup winner Outstrip.
Teofilo has now sired 64 individual Group winners, 24 of which have won at the highest level. They include Without A Fight, winner of the 2023 runnings of the Melbourne and Caulfield Cups, and Nations Pride, the victor of the Canadian International and Grosser Dallmayr Preis last season.
